About the author

Roy G. Biv is a trained social scientist and data engineer, living a parallel life as a creative nonfiction writer and spoken word poet. His work fuses philosophy with social satire. Musing in cultural criticism and inner architectures, he relatably challenges readers to examine not only who they are, but how the world shapes the way they think, connect, and feel.

A real moment.

Many hide in the shadows and disguise our true selves. We create and project images for the acceptance of others. We divide ourselves across the many camps where we reside. We neglect true relatedness for illusions, often waiting for the next better thing to come along. And because all flawed things stand bold in their own light, we shine back with our own. We entertain the notion of a beauty coexisting, drawing from dreams in which fantasy is the true object... in a tightly stretched canvas of triviality.
