Flaws are gorgeous.

Pride is a wall-to-wall projection of our deepest and darkest. It comes in many forms: indifference, feigned innocence, defensiveness, moral superiority, victim-blaming, and shaming. Because pride is just shame turned inside out. Each a branch of the same tree, pride is ego revealed, and shame is ego concealed. In the shadows of this shame lies a very vulnerable truth. Perhaps our most personal truth... one we want to bury and keep to the self. Because sometimes... it's the only way to survive.
